Pocket Hopper, Then and Now
Pocket Hopper started years ago as a small Xamarin game, built before Microsoft acquired Xamarin. The original version used the XNA framework and a simple goal: make a quick, approachable game where players could compete for the highest score.
The current version is a modern Swift port built with SpriteKit. It also adds GameKit support and a few new features while keeping the same core loop: hop higher, collect coins, and chase a better run.
The artwork came from my brother-in-law, and it is still a big part of the game's personality.
